Earthclass mail's epic fail. Please stop the madness!
Dear Sarah Carr:I have been a happy and loyal customer and an early-evangelist of your company since April 2008. Today this all changed.
I feel like I'm getting worked over by one of my favorite startups and I can't understand why. Worse yet, it's happening on my birthday April 3. Here's the deal:I used to pay 9.95 per month for this service from 2008 until now.
Additionally i would pay between $25 and $50 per year for variable fees like mailing hard copies of documents and checks back to myself or a few extra pages of scanning. Total expense for the each year since 2008 was approximately $150/year. This is a very reasonable amount for a great service.

When I analyze the prices that you're going to start charging me in April here's what I'm looking at:
Approximately 30 pieces of mail opened per month = $45/month
New monthly service fees = 19.95/monthMy new yearly costs approximately $779.40 an increase of 536%. What are you trying to do here? Burn all of your loyal customers and early adopters? You owe us more than this! Additionally how do you keep a straight face while saying that you're doing this in our interest and as a result of our feedback?I'm not the only one feeling like we're getting burned. Look at these other users: http://foxyurl.com/Orb
I understand that you need to increase prices to cover the expense of your infratucture. But this seems totally exorbitant.
Can't we chose the 19.95 or the $1.50/ item? This seems fair. But to increase both fixed and variable costs without providing any additional features hurts badly.
Please let us know what gives?Thank you!Mike Simmons
